In the early hours of yesterday morning my workshop was broken into i have to say i feel so numb at this moment in time not just for the items i have lost but also for certain things which my son has had taken including two hand built bikes which were almost complete and have taken him the best part of a year to build . A sad weekend indeed.

  7. ¡Qué desolación! Comprendo perfectamente tu estado de ánimo, el esfuerzo y el cariño con que tu hijo hizo el trabajo y en un momento , una persona mala, lo destroza, espero que lo detengan. Mi afecto :)

  8. I know from experience that the physical losses aren't as harmful as the loss of your sence of privacy and security. Hang in there!

  9. Tony - sorry to hear your sad news! It is always such a shock to think that anyone could "violate" your personal space so easily and make little of all the hard work you have both done. Take care of you! Mini hugs - Lidi

  11. I am very sorry for your and your son's loss.

A few years back we had a thief living right in the building who specialized in taking tools. I turned my workshop into a kennel for a very nice but large and highly skilled watchdog. The dog who belonged to a friend spent much of his day and all of his nights here until the thief moved out of town.

I understand your feelings: that thieves were in your personal space, that's the worst part in this case, I think.

  18. Oh my God! That's a really heavy blow that stops one in one's track for a moment. I'm so sorry that there are people like that out there and that, unfortunately, you had to 'meet up' with them. It's a blow, for sure. I hope that you can recover soon! Do NOT let it stop you from doing your beautiful work which we all follow with great delight and which, I'm sure, fills your life with satisfaction.
