Time for another giveaway.

So as i promised here's giveaway No2.
As I've been creating miniature pieces of wunderkammer just lately i thought id also make one of these pieces as my second giveaway.
This tiny piece measures just over an inch square and contains a beautiful piece of Imperial Topaz which originated from the Ouro Prêto area in Minas Gerais Brazil. One of the rarest forms of topaz and varying in colour from golden-orange to orange to pink, pinkish-red or violet.

The three panes of glass measure just 0.5mm thick and are mounted into a walnut case while the crystal itself sits on a piece of genuine buffalo horn on the front is mounted a tiny brass plaque.

So if you would like the opportunity to own this small treasure the same rules apply as before  be a follower of my blog and leave me a comment saying why you would like to own it simple as that!
I know this tiny piece will not match every ones own individual decorative tastes but its still a lovely little piece to own.
The winner will be picked and announced on the 25th August 2012.
Good Luck to everyone and have a wonderful weekend.       Tony

  1. I just love your work. I studied art history in school and one of my particular areas of interest was the cabinet of curiosities. Everytime you post a new work, i think how well it would fit in Baroque prince's cabinet. Keep up the good work!

  2. I am an avid follower of your art. It always amazes me when you come up with something that I would have never thought could be done in miniature, so of course, I would love to have one of your wonderful pieces to gaze at up close.

  3. I usually just quietly admire your art and love the intricacy of each piece. Thankyou for the opportunity to own such a collectible item which would have been handed down in the family....good luck to all who enter.

  5. It would be an honor and a pleasure, to win his precious find. His art is a feast for the eyes. I'm not very lucky, what I like I always had to earn it in my life. If I'm lucky this time either, I hope one day to have the chance to buy one of his wonderful creation. I participate with joy and interest. You will find the link in my blog. With sincere esteem. 6. Ooh, what a beautiful work of art! :D I would include this lovely piece in my upcoming Brownstone project. A world traveler will live there, and this seems precisely the sort of thing that would be collected while visiting far off places.

  7. I would love this. I'm hoping to create in my new house a room of curiosities (rather then just a cabinet) this would be great for it. Please count me in. I'll put a link on my blog.

  12. Another wonderful treasure from you :-) Of course I would love to take part of your giveaway! (I´m following as Manfred Bartsch) This little cabinet would suit probably to my witch project but I wouldn´t be able to "hide" it in a dollhouse, but display it here near my desk where I can enjoy it much more :-)
Thanks for the opportunity to win such a treasure! Happy Sunday,
    Sandra

  24. Strange little pieces of wunderkammer are the perfect items for the Majokko Shop... honestly, ever since I saw you started this series I've been able to imagine nothing but these types of items filling the shelves of the shop in your magical little casings... possibly only the most dangerous of the items though, the ones people truly should not touch!

I would love a chance to win this piece!
